Bell Labs India (located in Bangalore) is a place to do research and start ups under one roof. We are now also looking for strong Bachelors as interns for our Summer Internship program. The tenure of the summer internship program is about 10 weeks, and the start date is flexible (typically sometime in the month of either May or June, 2013).
In addition to a monthly stipend, Bell Labs will provide round-trip airfare to Bangalore as well.
About Internship: – Selected candidates will be working at Bangalore center of Bell Labs. The interns will be working in any of the following fields:
· Wireless networks (Virtual RAN/CloudRAN, Cellular P2P)
· Cloud-assisted large-scale networked and distributed systems
· Large scale data mining on network/telecom traces and online social networks
· Privacy and security
· Smart interactive mobile applications to learn and process multi-modal input (e.g. video via phone camera, speech, location, text etc.).
Who can apply: – Students having strong theoretical analysis, programming and systems building are invited to apply.
